How To Make Apple Juice Wine

Apple juice wine recipe
Pour apple juice into sterilised fermenting bucket.
Add washed sultanas after slicing or mincing them.
Create a sugar syrup by boiling 1 pint of water and stirring in the sugar.
Allow the syrup to cool to around 20ºc and add to fermenting bin.
Stir and leave for 24 hours.
Add wine yeast.
Add wine yeast nutrient.
Top up with cold water to 5 litres.
Move to warm place for around 10 days.
After the 10 days the wine should be clear and ready for bottling.
If not clear either rack wine or leave for a week to clear.
Leave for at least a month before enjoying.

Initial fermentation time: 10 days

Time to be ready to drink: 2 months

Sweetness: Medium dry

Calories per bottle: 400 approx

Yield: 6 bottles
