Yeast nutrient encourages yeast growth and it also increases the yeasts tolerance to alcohol. It should be applied in production of all kinds of homemade wine. So just follow the manufactirers instructions this will ensure a complete and rapid fermentation process.
It will normally be used in conjuction with any yeast culture. The quantities to use will be on the packaging but it is normally one teaspoon per gallon.
The nutrient is a mineral and contains nitrogen and phosphorus, these are so important for the growth of your wine yeast, and It will ensure a radid fermentation process.
